Yes, The Undertaker went on to win that ladder match and infamously break kayfabe and showed Hardy respect by raising his hand after the match. Years later in 2008 on SmackDown that the two would square off again, but in an extreme rules match.
The extreme rules match saw chair shots, kendo sticks, and of course, a ladder. The match was going back and forth The Big Show interfered. The Big Show threw Hardy out of the ring then turned his focus on The Undertaker. The Big Show would choke slam him. Hardy and The Undertaker turned their attention on The Big Show. While Hardy was on his back ‘Taker hit him with a steel chair causing The Big Show to go over the top rope. While ‘Taker had his back to Hardy, The Undertaker turned into a chair shot. After Hardy would climb the ladder and hit a leg drop onto ‘Taker and the referee counting 1,2,3.
