Seth Rollins didn’t just take a loss at WrestleMania 42 — he walked out with a black eye, and now he’s naming exactly who caused it.

Days after Bron Breakker made his shocking return and speared Rollins during his match with GUNTHER, Rollins has now confirmed he walked away with a legitimate black eye — and the way it happened is even crazier than it looked.

Speaking on the Rich Eisen Show, Rollins was asked directly about the injury — and didn’t hesitate to name Breakker as the cause, explaining how the spear turned into a two-part collision in real time.

“Bron Breakker. Yeah, yeah—it was his foot. His foot gave it to me when he speared me. Figure that out. This lunatic came so fast down the ramp. When he flipped as he speared me, his foot hit me in the eye. I was on the ground writhing in pain because I couldn’t breathe, wondering why my eye was also swelling. The man has a real problem—he does not know his own speed, his own strength. He’s on autopilot in the scariest way.”

Rollins went deeper into the sequence, explaining that the move was originally aimed at his midsection — but the speed of Breakker’s motion caused an unexpected second impact before he even hit the mat.

“It was targeted to my midsection, somehow double-tapped me on the way down. That’s how quick—I couldn’t even—I was not even on the ground before the foot got me in the face. I think it was a heel, because he flipped over—that happened. So he like scorpioned up and wham—got me right. I’ve never seen it before. Hopefully I never have to see it again. I’m sick of it. Actually, I saw it twice on Monday too, so it’s not been a great weekend for me.”

The chaos didn’t end there. Rollins also revealed he got some payback shortly after, referencing what went down on Raw — though he admitted it may have only made things worse.

“I did, yeah—I whacked him right in the back of the head and busted him open with a chair. So there was that—no big deal. I made the man bleed his own blood—that’s always a great feeling. But I think it worked against me. I think it really just fired him up. He was on an extra level of intensity.”

Breakker’s return at WrestleMania 42 inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas instantly changed the outcome of the Rollins vs. GUNTHER match, with his spear leaving Rollins vulnerable enough for GUNTHER to lock in a sleeper and secure the win. Moments later, Paul Heyman appearing to align with Breakker only added more fuel to the situation.

Now, with Rollins confirming the physical toll of that moment, the rivalry feels even more intense — especially with both men already trading shots just days later. Rollins didn’t just take a loss at WrestleMania — he took real damage, and it’s clear this issue with Breakker is far from finished.
