Seth Rollins isn’t giving LA Knight much of a chance against Roman Reigns at WWE Money in the Bank, and he thinks the World Heavyweight Championship match could turn into an absolute massacre. Rollins knows Roman better than almost anyone in WWE, and after sharing the ring with him just two months ago, he believes Reigns is so locked in right now that a 30-second destruction of Knight wouldn’t shock him.
While speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, Rollins discussed the matchup ahead of WWE Money in the Bank on October 10 in New Orleans, where Roman Reigns will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight. When asked what fans should be watching for, Rollins immediately made it clear that he sees Roman as the overwhelming favorite. Rollins pointed directly to his own SummerSlam experience with Reigns before dropping the 30-second prediction.
“Oh man. I mean, this is kind of one of those matches where if there were Vegas oddsmakers on this one, Roman’s a heavy favorite here. Heavy favorite in my book. I’m coming off working with him at SummerSlam in the main event for the World Heavyweight Championship, and I’m telling you, as good as this guy’s been over the years, he’s operating at his best right now. So, LA Knight, he better watch out. I mean, if this thing ended in 30 seconds, it would not surprise me. And that’s not saying anything bad about LA Knight. LA’s a hell of a competitor. Roman Reigns is operating on a different level right now. I don’t see this thing going any other way. I mean, maybe upset alert. Maybe upset alert, but I’m not buying it.”
Rollins has some firsthand evidence behind that confidence. Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins at SummerSlam 2026 after hitting three Spears to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in their main event battle. Rollins nearly took the championship himself, but Roman survived everything thrown at him before finally putting his longtime rival away.
The wild part is that the actual betting market isn’t far off from Rollins’ assessment. Current Money in the Bank betting odds have Reigns sitting at a massive -1500 to retain the championship, while Knight is a +600 underdog. Rollins didn’t need to see the numbers to reach the same conclusion.
Knight certainly isn’t entering New Orleans without confidence. He has spent weeks going directly at Roman, including attacking the champion after RAW in Mexico City, which led to Reigns firing off an NSFW threat and challenging Knight to come get the title. The two also went face-to-face on the final RAW before Money in the Bank, with Knight making it clear that he believes Roman’s time at the top is ready to come crashing down.
Rollins clearly sees something very different. He has battled Roman Reigns for years, just fought him in one of WWE’s biggest matches of 2026, and came away convinced that the current version of Reigns is operating on another level entirely. LA Knight may walk into Money in the Bank expecting the biggest win of his career, but Rollins thinks there’s a very real possibility Roman turns his dream night into a nightmare almost immediately.
