WWE Crown Jewel is still on for Saudi Arabia, and one of the country’s biggest entertainment officials is now actively pushing ticket sales for the show. Despite the growing security concerns surrounding WWE’s November 7 trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh just dropped a new promotional package for the event.

On October 26, Alalshikh took to Twitter and promoted Crown Jewel and specifically pushed the Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn match for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship. More importantly, he included a direct call for fans to buy tickets, marking the first time he’s actively promoted ticket sales for this year’s event.

“Roman Reigns takes on Sami Zayn for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship at RiyadhSeason 🔥🏆 November 7 🗓️ Riyadh Season Stadium – KAFD 📍 Book your ticket now 🎟️”

The timing definitely stands out because questions about Crown Jewel haven’t exactly gone away over the last few days. The show remains scheduled for November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium, but the security situation in Saudi Arabia has become a much bigger part of the conversation.

Just one day earlier, the U.S. Mission Saudi Arabia announced that the State Department had ordered non-emergency U.S. government employees and their family members to leave the country. The order actually went into effect on October 23 and cited safety risks connected to attacks by Iranian-backed Houthis.

“Effective October 23, 2026, the Department of State ordered non-emergency U.S. government employees and U.S. government employee family members to leave Saudi Arabia due to safety risks.”

The embassy also pointed to attacks on civilian airports and other infrastructure, warning that the situation could escalate quickly. U.S. government employees who remain in Saudi Arabia currently require special authorization to use airports following recent missile and drone attacks.

Those travel concerns could become especially important for WWE considering how many wrestlers, employees and production staff would need to get into Riyadh for Crown Jewel. There has still been no indication that WWE or Crown Jewel itself is being targeted, and the latest promotion from Alalshikh makes it clear that Saudi officials are continuing to move forward with the event.

WWE’s side has been keeping a close eye on things too. TKO executive Ari Emanuel recently confirmed that a team has been monitoring the situation daily and considering where Crown Jewel could potentially be moved if holding the event in Saudi Arabia becomes an issue.

“Yeah, we have a whole team kind of working on this, and kind of when—and if that doesn’t happen, where we can move it. It’s a daily monitoring.”

For now, though, there has been no change to the November 7 plan, and Alalshikh’s latest promotion is another strong public signal that preparations are continuing. With tickets now being actively pushed while the security situation remains fluid, the next several days could tell a lot about whether WWE’s plans stay exactly where they are.
