Rob Van Dam just dropped a wild story about life on the road with Sabu, and it sounds like their Winnebago could have been pulled over at any moment.
When asked if RVD whether he remembered any funny encounters with police while traveling in Sabu’s RV. The surprising part was not what happened with the cops. It was the fact that the cops apparently never showed up at all. RVD admitted there was plenty happening inside and around that Winnebago that could have attracted police attention.
“I can’t think of any in the RV. There were definitely some crimes committed, but I can’t remember the cops ever showing up with the Winnebago.”
RVD then explained that Sabu was not exactly driving like a cautious man. According to the former WWE Champion, speeding and swerving were normal, and sometimes parked cars paid the price.
“Besides Sabu speeding when he shouldn’t be, swerving and all that, we literally would rip bumpers off parked cars sometimes and just keep going.”
That is not the kind of story most people tell without eventually mentioning flashing lights, tickets or a night spent explaining things to police. RVD, however, could not remember a single traffic stop connected to the RV.
“I don’t think a cop ever—I can’t remember one. Not even a speeding ticket that I can remember.”
Sabu’s Winnebago has become a legendary part of ECW road history, and RVD’s latest story only adds another insane chapter. Somehow, they were speeding, swerving and clipping parked cars without getting caught, which might be the most unbelievable part of the entire story.
