Roxanne Perez lost to Charlotte Flair on RAW this week, but she is not letting WWE’s edit tell the whole story.
During the June 15 episode of Monday Night RAW, Perez stepped into the ring with “The Queen” and gave Charlotte a serious fight. She attacked Flair’s arm, kept cutting her off, and nearly had the match several times before Charlotte eventually caught her in the Figure-8 and forced the tap. That is the version WWE showed in its uploaded clip — the ending with Perez tapping out.
Roxanne Perez noticed what was missing. Perez took to Twitter and called out WWE for leaving out the part where she says she had Charlotte pinned for a full five seconds, only for the referee to miss it.
“Ohhh so we’re just gonna take out the part where the ref didn’t see me pin Charlotte for a whole 5 seconds!”
That changes the tone of the loss a bit. Perez still tapped out in the official result, but she is clearly arguing that WWE skipped over the moment where she could have had the match won before the finish ever happened.
The match itself had plenty going on. Liv Morgan got involved at ringside, Alexa Bliss tripped Morgan on the apron, and Perez came close before Charlotte countered Pop Rox into the Figure-8. But Roxanne’s point is simple — WWE only showed the part where she lost, not the part where she believes she should have won.
Bottom line, Roxanne Perez is not just taking the L quietly. She is calling out WWE’s own video edit and making sure fans know she thinks Charlotte Flair was pinned way longer than the referee saw.
