Roman Reigns isn’t letting this slide — he’s coming straight for CM Punk after comments about his schedule turned personal.

On April 19, 2026, Reigns addressed Punk’s remarks during a WWE vlog, making it clear he didn’t appreciate his family being part of the conversation. When first asked about Punk’s criticism, Reigns immediately dismissed the approach and went right at the tone. He followed that up by explaining why he believes talking about another man’s personal life — especially family — crosses a line.

“That’s hoe sh*t—that’s beta behavior. When you talk about, like, as a man—when you talk about other men’s lives and personal matters that have nothing to do with you—that’s a brother who doesn’t have a family, doesn’t have any kids, doesn’t have a next generation to understand how to teach them.”

Reigns didn’t stop there. He took things further by questioning Punk’s lifestyle and responsibilities compared to his own. And when it came to Punk comparing him to other WWE stars, Reigns made it clear he doesn’t see that as a fair comparison at all.

“He’s just living life like a college kid. Let me guess—you’ve got nothing going on the whole weekend, right? No responsibilities? You’re over here talking about how I should father my children and how I should balance my life—comparing me to people with one child? Imagine five of them. Imagine having twins—two sets of them.”

That response came after Punk initially tried to frame his comments with respect, acknowledging Reigns’ dedication to family and where those priorities come from.

“I think anybody would be a fool to not look at Roman and respect the fact that he puts his family above everything else. I love the fact that he can say my kids will never know what not having their father around is like because he did that with Sika… And I think that's great.”

But Punk quickly pivoted into criticism, questioning whether Reigns being a part-timer fits the role of a top WWE star. And finally, Punk compared Reigns to other top names he believes are balancing things differently.

“He has his priorities and they are right. Just like day one when he said I want to provide for my daughter. His priorities are in the right spot, but it's real hard to sit back and look at a man who will do that and be a part timer and think that's OK. Because there is a responsibility that comes not only with being a WWE Superstar, with being a champion. This is about, Pro wrestling versus cinema. I don't want to say anything nice or good or positive about Seth Rollins, but Seth seems to balance things perfectly fine. My good friend Cody Rhodes seems to balance everything super fine. Why can't Roman? He's a part timer who wants to come in here and act like he calls the shots.”

Bottom line — what started as a take on part-time vs full-time just turned into a personal back-and-forth. Reigns isn’t interested in debating schedules if it means his family gets brought into it — and now this rivalry feels a lot more heated than ever, hours before their match at WrestleMania 42.

Did CM Punk cross a line by bringing Roman Reigns’ family into the discussion, or is Roman going too far with the response? Drop your thoughts below.
