WWE Monday Night RAW took place on July 13, 2026, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins came face-to-face for the official contract signing ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam. It marked another chapter in the long history between two former brothers turned bitter rivals.

The road to SummerSlam picked up after Seth Rollins challenged Reigns on RAW. The Visionary took several shots at the champion’s limited schedule, claiming Reigns only showed up when the paycheck was big enough. The verbal exchange quickly reminded fans that there was far more at stake than just the World Heavyweight Championship.

This segment closed out the show as Roman Reigns made his way to the ring. He was out there to sign a SummerSlam contract with his former Shield brother, Seth Rollins. When the Visionary made his way out, he was greeted by fans in Dallas singing his song.

Seth Rollins said he knows it is hard when fans singing his song drowns out the OTC chants. Roman Reigns was not amused by that one bit. He also said that death, taxes, and beating Roman Reigns every single time are the only three things that are certain.

Roman Reigns dragged Rollins’ promo from RAW last week, as he called it boring. Then Roman admitted that he was still listening to the OTC’s “number one hater.” Fans chanted “he’s a hater” after that, which Rollins seemed to enjoy. The OTC went on to say that he will show Rollins what #1 looks like at SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins signed his side of the contract after that, and he got a pop from the Dallas crowd. He also thanked Roman Reigns for keeping his title warm for him at WrestleMania and “my brother, I will see you next time you decide to show up for work.” Roman Reigns asked Rollins where he was going. He asked Rollins what will happen if he does beat him at SummerSlam, “you gonna carry it for a couple of months and get hurt again, I mean, don’t look shocked, that’s what happens every single time. Some would say it’s self-sabotage, because some people just can’t handle the weight and pressure and burden of being the top guy around here.”

That comment hit below the belt, and Seth Rollins walked back to the ring to get eye-to-eye with Roman Reigns. He told Rollins not to hold back and speak his mind. Then Roman said, “I’ll say it because everyone’s thinking it,” and then he said that Rollins needs a Money in the Bank briefcase to become champion. He also dragged Rollins for faking an injury so he could cash him in. Then Roman called Triple H Rollins’ “work daddy.” Roman said that “they gave you all my stuff,” but you’re still #2.

Roman Reigns capped everything off by saying that Seth Rollins will always be #2, “so acknowledge it, b*tch!” Seth Rollins screamed at Roman Reigns to tell him that he will never be on top, because there is nothing that he can say that Seth hasn’t already thought about himself. He realized that he has to be proud of what he fights for, because he’s a Visionary, Revolutionary, he is Seth Freakin’ Rollins, “and I am so glad that I am not you.”

After that, Seth Rollins jumped Roman Reigns and he beat the OTC down. “I know who I am, you piece of sh*t, I know who I am!” Rollins yelled as he continued his assault. RAW ended this week as Roman Reigns nailed a Superman Punch to stop a Stomp from Rollins. Then Roman placed a table in the corner to attempt a powerbomb through it, but Rollins nailed him in the head with a microphone, hit a pedigree, and then executed the Stomp.

What’s your take on Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins’ SummerSlam program? Do you believe that the OTC will beat the Visionary? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
