Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson just made one young fan’s Halloween a hell of a lot more memorable. After seeing the ridiculous amount of work that went into a little girl named Brooklyn transforming herself into Hollywood Rock for a costume competition, The Final Boss decided she deserved a much bigger prize than a trophy.
The Rock took to Instagram and shared a video from Brooklyn’s mother, who explained just how painstakingly she put the costume together. This wasn’t just a bald cap and sunglasses either — Brooklyn went full Hollywood Rock with the wrestling tights, fake muscle bodysuit and even a recreation of Rock’s famous Samoan tattoo.
There was only one problem: Brooklyn didn’t win first place in the Halloween competition. Rock clearly thought that was some bullshit, because he decided to crown her himself before revealing he had a massive surprise waiting for her.
“This is Brooklyn and I have a cool SURPRISE for her 😎👇🏾
Honey, I’m sorry you didn’t win 1st place 🥇
BUT…
to me, you won 1st place 🥇 and your prize is this…”
And this definitely wasn’t some signed photo or box of WWE merchandise. Rock revealed that he wants to fly Brooklyn and her entire family out to California this December so they can attend the Hollywood world premiere of Jumanji: Open World as his special guests.
“SURPRISE 🚨 I’m flying you and your family out to California, so you can be my special guests at our red carpet WORLD PREMIERE OF ‘JUMANJI: OPEN WORLD’ in Hollywood this December, just in time for Christmas 🎄🍿”
Rock then told Brooklyn to speak with her parents and said his team would contact her mother during the week to get everything arranged.
“Talk with your parents, and I’ll have my team connect with your mom @michelekeppler this week!”
The whole thing clearly hit Rock differently as a father himself. He brought up being a proud girl dad and revealed that he has a 10-year-old daughter around Brooklyn’s age, which apparently made seeing another young girl go to such ridiculous lengths to recreate Hollywood Rock even sweeter.
“I’m a proud 3x girl dad and I have an awesome 10yr old just like you. Can’t wait to meet you, and your family and can’t wait for you guys to enjoy our movie, JUMANJI.
“ps – thanks for being such a cool fan 🙏🏾👊🏾
pss – your mom is a true ROCKSTAR ⭐️ 🫶🏾”
Brooklyn might not have walked away with first place in her Halloween competition, but getting personally invited by The Rock to fly to Hollywood with her family is a pretty damn good consolation prize. And considering how much effort went into recreating everything from his bald head to that Samoan tattoo, Rock clearly wasn’t about to let all of Mom’s hard work go unrewarded.
