Ric Flair did not just sing “Happy Birthday” to a woman at a bar — he turned the whole damn song into a proposition.
Footage that circulated online on September 5, 2026 showed Flair sitting several seats away from a woman celebrating her birthday when The Nature Boy decided to jump in on the moment. It’s unclear where the clip was filmed, who the woman was, or if Flair was even part of her group.
None of that mattered once Flair got going. He started off with the normal birthday lyrics, then completely hijacked the song and dropped a line only Ric Flair would think to use in the middle of a bar.
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.. Before the evening is over, may you and I mutually agree that I make love to you, Happy Birthday.”
Yeah. He actually went there. The woman immediately cracked up laughing, and the people around her lost it too as Flair finished the performance with a huge “WOOOOOOO.” She clapped and told him thank you, while Flair sat there looking like he had just delivered the smoothest line of his life.
The funniest part is there’s no clear indication Flair was even with the birthday party. The woman and her group were sitting further down the bar, while Flair appeared to just be doing his own thing before deciding somebody else’s birthday was the perfect time to shoot his shot.
At 77 years old, Flair apparently still doesn’t believe in subtlety. A birthday song started, he saw an opening, and within seconds he was asking a woman if they could “mutually agree” that he make love to her. Only Ric Flair could turn “Happy Birthday” into that.
What do you make of Flair shooting his shot like this in the middle of a birthday celebration? Leave your feedback in the comments.
