Flair addressed his WWE status while speaking with Booker T on the Hall of Fame podcast. As the conversation wrapped up, Flair talked about seeing Booker again in Philadelphia before revealing that he planned to be around WWE more often. Flair first made it clear that fans could expect to see more of him, pointing to the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania while saying he was back in the WWE fold.
“Well, I know I can tell you this right now, the road of life is going to lead me to you in Philadelphia. Then, unfortunately, I’m coming to the Royal Rumble. You know what? WrestleMania is upon us. I know, but I mean, you’re going to see a lot of me now. I’m back in.”
Flair then revealed that he and Triple H had personally settled whatever tension existed between them, saying they hugged and made up.
“Me and Hunter hugged. We made up. I’m back in, man. No getting rid of the H. I’ll be seeing you in a couple of weeks, dude.”
That is a pretty clear change in tone from Flair, who has had his ups and downs with WWE over the years. Whatever happened behind the scenes, The Nature Boy is now openly saying he and Triple H are good and that he considers himself back in the mix. Flair didn’t explain exactly what “I’m back in” means when it comes to future WWE appearances, but he certainly didn’t sound like someone planning to stay away. If anything, Flair made it sound like WWE fans could be seeing plenty more of him going forward.
