AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio has something big to say.
The WWE Hall of Famer has been advertised to make a “huge announcement” during Week 2 of Noche de Los Grandes this Saturday. Mysterio was recently named AAA General Manager, and now the promotion is putting him front and center again.
Mysterio has already been heavily involved in the special event series. During Week 1 of Noche de Los Grandes, he worked commentary and was also brought into the ring for the introductions before the Mask vs. Mask main event. AAA has not revealed what Mysterio’s announcement will be. Still, the promotion is clearly making it one of the main selling points for the June 6 broadcast.
The show will also include a five-way match with Joaquin Wilde, Mini Vikingo, Lince Dorado, Octagón Jr., and Cruz Del Toro. Bayley will also team with La Catalina and Lola Vice against Las Toxicas, made up of Flammer, Maravilla, and La Hiedra.
AAA Noche de Los Grandes Week 2 will air on June 6 through WWE and AAA’s YouTube channels. Rey Mysterio already has power in AAA as the promotion’s General Manager, so whatever he announces could have a real impact on what comes next.
