IYO SKY has been missing from WWE television for nearly a month, leaving fans wondering what happened to her just as she appeared to be getting involved with The Judgment Day. It turns out there was a much simpler explanation.
SKY hasn’t appeared on WWE television since the August 10 episode of Monday Night RAW. Her last match saw her team with Sol Ruca to defeat Judgment Day members Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. With SKY disappearing from television after that match, questions naturally started popping up about her absence. She has now provided the answer herself.
Taking to Twitter, SKY revealed that she spent her time away in Tokyo and shared photos from her trip. More importantly for fans wondering when she’ll be back, she confirmed that her vacation is already over.
“My short summer vacation in Tokyo was amazing!! My next destination is…. #WWESouthAmerica tour👉😆👈 Here we go!!!🛫🌎✨✨ #Tokyo #Shibuya”
That next destination makes her WWE status considerably clearer. SKY is set to be part of WWE’s South American tour this week, so her absence from television doesn’t look like something that will keep her away from the company much longer.
What happens once SKY actually returns to RAW isn’t really known since WWE hasn’t announced her next television appearance yet. Bottom line: SKY went home, enjoyed some summer in Tokyo, and now the suitcase is apparently being packed again, this time for WWE.
