R-Truth recently spoke with Daniel Sadoh about his WWE future, where the conversation turned toward how much longer he sees himself wrestling and what the next chapter of his career could look like.
During the interview, Sadoh asked Truth what the next five years of his life and career might look like. In response to that broader question, Truth stated he would be “done before then.” The conversation then shifted directly into his WWE contract status, where Truth confirmed he had signed a four-year deal after returning to WWE in 2025.
“I’ll be around. I signed a four-year deal. But it’s like—the sky is the limit, man. It’ll always be the limit. I don’t believe in aging.”
In our original report, we interpreted Truth’s earlier “done before then” comment as being directly connected to the four-year WWE contract he later discussed during the interview. After reviewing the full exchange again, it’s clear the comment was tied to the broader question about the next five years overall and not specifically about whether he planned to complete the full term of his WWE deal.
Truth later responded directly to our report on Twitter/X after the article circulated online.
“They lying 🤔 yall, AND they’ve been blocked for a while now for lying 🤔 GTFOH”
We want to apologize to R-Truth and our readers for the misunderstanding. The issue came from the flow of the interview conversation being interpreted incorrectly and was never intended to misrepresent Truth’s comments or his standing with WWE.
At this time, R-Truth remains signed to WWE under the four-year agreement he confirmed during the interview, and nothing said during the conversation established that he plans to leave the company before the contract expires.
