R-Truth has made some of the biggest names in WWE crack up on live television, but according to him, that is never actually the goal.
During his conversation with WittyWhittier, Truth explained that he is not out there trying to force other WWE stars to break character. Truth was asked who the hardest person is for him to break on camera. The question came up because Truth has had plenty of unforgettable moments where stars like Brock Lesnar and Damian Priest could not keep a straight face around him. Instead of naming someone, Truth shut down the idea that he goes into segments trying to make that happen.
“I never try to break him.”
Truth explained that making someone laugh is not part of some master plan. He said he simply goes out there and does what he does best.
“That’s not an object objection of mine. I just be I just do me. You know what I’m saying?”
Truth also made it clear that he does not think anyone is impossible to crack. In classic R-Truth fashion, he turned the answer into a line that sounded exactly like something only he could deliver.
“And I don’t believe there’s anyone that’s unbreakable. I put the can in can’t. You know what I’m saying? You can’t spell can’t without can.”
That answer says a lot about why Truth has remained such a beloved figure in WWE for so long. He is not trying to hijack segments or embarrass anyone. He is just being himself, and sometimes that is enough to make even the most serious people in the room lose it.
Truth’s timing has helped create some of WWE’s funniest moments, but his explanation makes it clear that those reactions happen naturally. He is not chasing the laugh. He is just R-Truth, and that is usually enough.
