R-Truth has seen that Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri clip everyone has been talking about, and apparently even he isn’t sure WWE can call this PG anymore.
The former WWE Tag Team Champion took to Twitter after footage of Austin Theory getting very hands-on with Maxxine started making the rounds again. He didn’t need a long explanation.
“I don’t even know if that PG! 🫤”
The clip comes from a RAW celebration where Maxxine came down from the ropes and jumped straight into Theory’s arms. She wrapped her legs around him while Theory held her up, but it was where his hands ended up that sent the clip viral. Fans immediately started having a field day with it. One account reposted the footage and asked what exactly was going on between the two.
“Austin Theory & Maxxine Dupri… WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? 👀😭 Something tells me this story is about to get VERY interesting. Someone is definitely going to need a lawyer…”
Another fan brought up Maxxine being married in real life and said pretending to be a couple for television was one thing, but Theory’s hand placement would be another story entirely.
“I understand having to cosplay a relationship with my wife on TV. But if you spread my wife’s cheeks whilst holding her like this, I have no option but to shoot you.”
That response ended up pulling around 1.4 million views, while the original conversation surrounding the clip climbed to roughly 2.4 million. Not everybody thought there was anything worth freaking out about. Theory and Maxxine are performers playing an on-screen couple, and one fan pointed out the pretty obvious possibility that they knew exactly what they were doing beforehand.
“Have yall ever considered that this is their idea and they rehearsed this?”
There’s also nothing showing anything is actually going on between Theory and Maxxine away from WWE television, or that Maxxine’s real-life marriage is having problems. That hasn’t stopped the internet from dissecting the 19-second clip like it’s evidence in a court case. Truth apparently isn’t interested in going that deep. He saw where Theory’s hands were, questioned whether the whole thing was still PG, and moved on.
