QT Marshall gave AEW fans a huge scare during the Buy In preshow on Sunday night after a brutal fall outside the ring, but Tony Khan says things could have been much worse.
The scary moment happened during the Boom and Doom and The Conglomeration vs. Shane Taylor Promotions 10-man tag match when Marshall slipped off the top rope during a Tower of Doom spot. He crashed hard to the floor outside the ring and needed help getting backstage afterward.
The rough landing immediately spread across social media, with many fans fearing Marshall may have suffered a serious injury after the nasty fall. Thankfully, Khan provided a positive update during the AEW post-show media scrum and reassured everyone that Marshall avoided major damage.
“QT’s gonna be okay. Thanks for asking.”
Marshall’s fall ended up becoming one of the most talked-about moments of the entire Buy In preshow due to how dangerous the landing looked in real time.
While AEW fans were clearly concerned after seeing Marshall helped to the back, Khan’s update now appears to confirm that the situation is not as serious as many originally feared.
