Kelani Jordan already had enough to worry about with WWE refusing to tell her who she’s defending the NXT Women’s Championship against tonight. Now, just hours before the show, there’s another interesting development that could make that mystery a whole lot more intriguing.
According to PWInsider, Paige is currently in Orlando, Florida ahead of tonight’s November 4 episode of WWE NXT. WWE sources confirmed that Paige was specifically brought in, although exactly why she is there remains unknown.
Jordan retained her championship against Wren Sinclair at Halloween Havoc before being informed that another title defense was waiting for her on Wednesday. The catch was that nobody bothered telling Jordan who she would actually be facing.
That does not mean Paige is the mystery challenger. PWInsider specifically noted that they could not confirm whether her presence is connected to Jordan’s match or whether WWE brought her in for an entirely different reason.
Still, WWE bringing Paige into Orlando on the exact night NXT has an unidentified woman challenging for its Women’s Championship is going to get people talking. The important part right now is that Paige being brought in is confirmed — anything involving Jordan’s title defense remains speculation until WWE actually reveals its hand.
