Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that at one point there were plans to see The Miz defend his Intercontinental Championship title against Jason Jordan at the upcoming WWE No Mercy event.
As of this writing, the match has yet to be announced but judging by storyline on WWE television, that match could still be in the works.
WWE No Mercy takes place on September 24th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. As Always, we will be providing live play-by-play coverage of the event.
