Seth Rollins never showed up on RAW in Mexico City, despite plenty of fans expecting his television return. Now, there’s another update, and this time both WWE and an arena are pointing toward next week’s RAW.
Rollins has been off WWE television ever since losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Even though he was cleared to wrestle and returned during WWE’s South America live tour, his absence from RAW in Mexico City left fans wondering if WWE had changed plans.
Before the show, WrestleVotes noted that Rollins was healthy and back around WWE, but nobody they spoke to could confirm whether he was actually in Mexico or scheduled to appear.
“After what they did bringing him back at the house show, people are expecting him. He’s healthy, and he is around.”
The report also pointed out that Rollins had recently teamed with LA Knight and Solo Sikoa at live events after wrapping up his feud with Roman Reigns. That raised several questions about where WWE plans to take him next, whether it’s back toward Reigns, into The Bloodline story, or somewhere completely different.
However, RAW came and went without Rollins making an appearance. Now, attention has shifted to next Monday. Both WWE and the Frost Bank Center are currently advertising Seth Rollins for the September 21 edition of RAW in San Antonio, Texas.
There’s still no guarantee he’ll actually appear. WWE has advertised Superstars for shows before only for plans to change, but seeing both WWE and the host arena promoting Rollins is certainly an interesting sign.
Rollins has already proven he’s healthy after returning to the ring on WWE’s South America tour. He picked up a win alongside LA Knight and Solo Sikoa in Ecuador before the trio even broke into Too Cool’s famous dance during a later live event in Chile, showing he’s fully back on the road with the company. The only thing missing now is his television return. After missing RAW in Mexico City, San Antonio has suddenly become the show to watch.
