Roman Reigns’ White House flex got hijacked fast. The OTC was part of UFC Freedom 250 at the White House, and TKO made sure to put him front and center on social media.
Reigns reposted the moment with his usual one-finger emoji, but actor and part-time wrestler Paul Walter Hauser wasn’t impressed at all. Hauser took aim at Reigns’ limited WWE schedule and dragged his “Acknowledge Me” catchphrase into it while comparing him to AEW names who work far more often.
“Is this where you are when you’re never wrestling? Why do guys like Darby Allin and Kenny Omega wrestle every single week, and yet, they don’t ask us to ‘acknowledge them’? Could it be that the work begets the acknowledgement? Enjoy the field trip, you actual dork.”
That was a full-on shot. Hauser didn’t just clown Roman for the White House visit, he used it to call out the way Reigns still gets treated like WWE’s top guy despite not wrestling every week.
Reigns has been WWE’s biggest attraction for years, but his part-time schedule continues to give people an easy target. Hauser saw the White House post and took his swing, making sure Roman’s big TKO crossover moment came with a brutal insult attached.
Between Conor McGregor asking “Who?” and Hauser calling him an “actual dork,” Reigns’ White House appearance turned into more than just a photo op.
