Kevin Hart’s latest WWE crossover at Fanatics Fest may have topped his viral title theft from last year.
In a new video shared by WWE from Fanatics Fest on July 18, Paul Heyman introduced the comedian with a surprise announcement, as he called Kevin Hart the next Paul Heyman Guy.
“Ladies and gentlemen, the next Paul Heyman Guy… Kevin Hart!”
Hart immediately embraced the over-the-top introduction. Instead of making a normal entrance, he walked out to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s iconic theme music while wearing the United States Championship, the Intercontinental Championship and a World Championship over his shoulders.
The comedian fully committed to the bit, chugging from a bottle just like Austin before celebrating with the crowd and heading backstage, creating one of the weekend’s biggest celebrity crossover moments.
The appearance continued Hart’s growing list of memorable WWE moments at Fanatics Fest. During last year’s event, Hart hilariously recreated Cody Rhodes’ entrance before suddenly dropping The American Nightmare to the floor. A referee rushed in for an impromptu three-count, allowing Hart to “defeat” Rhodes before running off with a replica World Championship and celebrating the unlikely victory.
Whether he’s pinning Cody Rhodes, walking away with championship gold or suddenly becoming Paul Heyman’s newest “client,” Kevin Hart continues to prove he’s more than willing to lean into WWE’s brand of entertainment whenever the opportunity presents itself.
