TNA’s parent company is now addressing the recent exits, and the message is clear: the company is cutting down and shifting focus.

Anthem Sports issued an update confirming a workforce reduction at TNA Wrestling. The company said the move was made to streamline operations and sharpen its focus on strategy and profitability. That statement comes after several recent TNA departures, including Tommy Dreamer and Tessa Blanchard.

Dreamer is gone from TNA after working in the company’s creative and talent relations departments. Anthem said Dreamer and TNA mutually agreed to part ways, ending his latest run behind the scenes.

Tessa Blanchard is also officially out. Anthem confirmed that TNA has come to terms on her release, closing the book on her most recent return to the company.

The key part of Anthem’s statement is that it did not stop with Dreamer and Blanchard. The company wished “Tessa, Tommy and others” the best in their future endeavors, meaning the cuts went beyond the two biggest names listed.

This is not just a couple of exits. Anthem is framing it as a business move. TNA has seen a rough stretch of departures recently, and now the parent company is putting an official label on it. The company is trimming operations, changing its creative leadership, and trying to tighten things up financially.

“TNA Wrestling today announced a workforce reduction, designed to streamline operations and sharpen strategic focus and profitability.

TNA’s creative leadership team will see an immediate shift. Tommy Dreamer, who has worked in TNA’s Creative and Talent Relations Departments, is leaving the company as TNA and Dreamer mutually agreed to part ways.

TNA Wrestling also has come to terms on the release of Tessa Blanchard.

We wish Tessa, Tommy and others the best in their future endeavors.”

Now the question is who else was affected, how creative changes moving forward, and whether these cuts help stabilize TNA or create more problems.
