Paige Collett keeps popping up in the NWA, keeps getting physical, and keeps giving fans every reason to think she’s part of the roster. There’s just one catch — Ringside News has learned she still doesn’t have an NWA contract.
Collett first turned heads when she showed up alongside Sirena Veil and helped her tear into Pretty Empowered after their NWA Women’s World Tag Team Championship match. She followed that up by teaming with Veil to beat Alexandra Quinn and Corinne Joy at NWA Kross Fire Empowerrr, making it pretty clear this wasn’t some one-night cameo.
Naturally, the more Collett showed up, the more people assumed a deal had already been done behind the scenes. That speculation only got louder after NWA recently locked Gisele Shaw into an exclusive contract.
Ringside News has now learned exactly where things stand. We were told that Paige Collett is not currently under contract with the National Wrestling Alliance. That doesn’t mean the door is closed. Collett has already carved out a noticeable role during her appearances with Sirena Veil, and there’s nothing stopping NWA from putting a deal in front of her down the road if both sides want to keep this going.
For now, though, fans can stop assuming there’s already paperwork in place. Paige Collett may be getting plenty of NWA screen time, but as of right now, she’s still working without a contract.
Collett has already made enough noise to get people asking about her status, which is usually a pretty good sign that fans are paying attention. The next question is whether NWA decides to lock her down before somebody else does.
