The original WCW Nitro Grill sign is still alive, and it was recently purchased by a friend of former WWE star The Godfather.

The Godfather revealed the news on Instagram on January 14, 2026, showing the massive Nitro Grill sign sitting outside after it was moved. This was not a replica, not some random fan-made piece, but the original sign from WCW’s old Nitro Grill. The Godfather said he helped his friend move the giant sign, and he made it clear the thing was a pain to haul around.

“A good friend of mine, bought this original nitro grill sign and I had the great pleasure of helping him move this heavy Ass sign.”

The price was not revealed, so there is no telling how much his friend paid for the piece of WCW history. Either way, it is a pretty cool pickup for any wrestling collector, especially since the Nitro Grill has been gone for years.

The post also got love from wrestling names, including Chavo Guerrero, who jumped into the comments and wrote, “That’s awesome.”

WCW Nitro Grill was one of those wild pieces of the Monday Night War era, and somehow the original sign is still around. Now it has landed in someone’s private collection, even if nobody knows what the final price tag looked like.
