The June 8 episode of WWE RAW went down in Paris, France at the Accor Arena. The night was full of big moments, and they started off the broadcast with a lot of noise.
Oba Femi had Brock Lesnar’s number after he beat the Beast at WrestleMania. Then Lesnar returned at Clash in Italy to destroy The Ruler with 7 F5s, 4 more than The Undertaker needed to break the streak.
Oba Femi kicked off the show this week, and fans were ready to hear from him. Fans were ready for The Ruler, and they gave him a great ovation, complete with chanting his name in massive fashion.
After opening up to say how great Paris is treating him, Oba Femi got down to business. He mentioned how Paul Heyman believes in spoilers, so Oba provided a spoiler that he will “run through every man in this King of the Ring tournament.” He plans on winning the whole thing at Night of Champions, and that is only the beginning.
Oba Femi will take his place as King of the Ring. He said this is not a prediction, it’s a spoiler. He also meant business as fans chanted on. Then he will claim another trophy, the head of Brock Lesnar. He plans on getting even with The Beast Incarnate, and then he said that the only thing he’s seen from Lesnar in the last few weeks was “a big bad bitch.”
After stating that he plans on settling the score with Brock Lesnar Dominik Mysterio came out to interrupt Femi. After all, next week will see Oba and Dirty Dom go one-on-one next week in the King of the Ring tournament. Dom said that Oba doesn’t rule anybody because he’s so worried about Brock Lesnar, but he should have been worried about Dirty Dom.
As Oba Femi was distracted, JD McDonagh jumped in the ring with a chair and whacked him. Oba didn’t flinch, and then Dom tried to get the jump on Oba, but The Ruler slammed him down before JD could save him. Oba Femi made it clear that Dominik Mysterio messed up as he said, “Rey Mysterio is your father, but next week I will introduce you to your daddy!”
