Keanu Carver’s rise in NXT isn’t slowing down—and the latest update suggests things are about to get even bigger.

After making a dominant transition from EVOLVE to WWE’s developmental brand earlier this year, Carver has quickly been positioned as one of the most dangerous names on the roster. Now, according to a report from Bodyslam, WWE is preparing to take things to the next level with him.

Sources indicate that Carver is expected to play a major role in the NXT men’s division moving forward, with internal expectations pointing toward a significant push. That includes a potential move straight into the title picture.

One source claims Carver is being lined up to go after Tony D’Angelo’s NXT Championship in the near future, following D’Angelo’s recent win at Stand & Deliver. The timing lines up with what’s already happening on screen.

Carver made a statement on NXT Revenge Week One by ambushing Joe Hendry during his concert segment, leaving the former champion busted open and taking out multiple security guards in the process. The attack immediately set up a one-on-one match between the two for next week—putting Carver in a high-profile spot right away.

That momentum isn’t new either. Carver already made an impression earlier this year during the February 3, 2026 episode of NXT, where he competed in a seven-man Ladder Match for the vacant NXT Championship. Even in defeat, he stood out by literally ripping a ladder in half during the match.

Now, with reports pointing toward a title chase and his presence growing stronger week by week, it’s clear WWE sees Carver as more than just a rising name—they see him as a future centerpiece. If the push continues at this pace, it may only be a matter of time before he’s standing across from D’Angelo with the NXT Championship on the line.

Do you think Keanu Carver is ready for a title run this soon, or should WWE build him up more before pulling the trigger? Let us know your thoughts.
