After nearly a year on the sidelines due to injury, Noam Dar is officially back — and he didn’t waste any time making an impact.

After being sidelined since June 2025 and forced to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup due to injury, Dar made his in-ring return on April 24, 2026 at a WWE NXT live event in Dade City, Florida. Not only did he step back into the ring, he picked up a win against Jackson Drake of the Vanity Project.

This marks Dar’s first match in nearly a year, ending a frustrating stretch that followed yet another injury setback. At the time he vacated the Heritage Cup, Dar had only just returned from a previous long layoff that kept him out from May 2024 to April 2025—making this comeback even more significant.

Before this return, there had been optimism surrounding his recovery. His partner, Aleah James, shared a positive update while speaking about his progress and mindset during rehab.

“Yeah, it’s going along really well. Getting stronger and being able to do more and more. So, it’s just looking for that return. We’re ready, we’re waiting. He’s gonna be better and stronger than ever so, we’re looking forward to that.”

That optimism now looks justified. Dar is back in the ring, back in the win column, and potentially back in the mix for bigger things in NXT. His last official WWE update before this return came when NXT General Manager Ava confirmed he would have to step away and give up the Heritage Cup due to injury.

“Due to injury, Noam Dar will not be able to compete this Tuesday and will have to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.”

With that chapter behind him, Dar’s return could have immediate implications. Known for his technical precision and ring awareness, he now steps back into an NXT landscape that has continued to evolve during his absence—giving him a chance to reestablish himself while also working with newer talent rising through the ranks. After everything he’s dealt with over the past two years, this return feels like a reset—and possibly the start of a strong second run.

Do you think Noam Dar can reclaim his spot at the top of NXT after this comeback, or will the current roster make it harder for him to break through again? Share your thoughts.
