Nikki Blackheart’s new WWE NXT name is official now, and she confirmed it herself.

After making her NXT debut last week, she posted a message on X saying goodbye to the Nikki Blackheart name and moving forward as Reina Volcán. WWE had already tipped its hand when the company’s own website used “Reina Volcan” in the URL for her debut video, but now there is no mystery left.

Blackheart thanked the name that helped get her this far, explained how Gangrel gave her the green light to use it years ago, and then made it clear that she is starting a new chapter.

“Nikki Blackheart, thank you for one hell of a ride. When I first chose the name, I remember asking my coach Gangrel what he thought. He had been part of The Blackhearts in Japan, so his opinion meant a lot. He didn’t hesitate. He told me, ‘Do it.’ Then said, ‘Just make sure you represent it well.’ From that day on, I did my best to live up to those words. My gear girl, Chelsea, made me this top a while ago, and I could never find the ‘perfect’ time to wear it. Turns out, today was the perfect time. Thank you to everyone who helped put Nikki Blackheart on the map, and for all the love and support you’ve shown me throughout this journey. I’ll never take it for granted. On to new beginnings. P.S. It’s not ‘Queen Volcano’ or ‘Queen of Volcanoes.’ It’s Reina Volcán… not everything needs to be translated.”

That settles it. Nikki Blackheart is now Reina Volcán in WWE NXT. Her debut already got people talking after she attacked Tatum Paxley at the end of NXT. WWE did not say her new name on the broadcast, but between the WWE.com clue and her own post, the new identity is locked in.

Now the real test starts. Reina Volcán has the look, the name, and a fresh start in NXT. WWE gave her a violent introduction, and now fans will see how far they plan to push her.
