Joey Janela did what he normally does on Twitter—jumped into somebody else’s business, started running his mouth and then acted shocked when the entire thing came flying back at him. This time, Nick LoPiccolo was waiting.
The fight kicked off after Janela responded to Ringside News’ coverage of LoPiccolo warning AEW and Tony Khan to “tap out” before the one-year anniversary of their ongoing war. Janela compared LoPiccolo’s warning to an empty threat from North Korea.
“Basically when North Korea says they’re going to shoot a nuke on Kim Il-sung’s birthday.”
Janela thought he had landed a clever shot. He had not. When another user asked what the wrestlers represented by LoPiccolo thought about his behavior, Janela claimed LoPiccolo no longer had any clients, writing, “He doesn’t represent anyone anymore, lol.” LoPiccolo immediately hit Janela where everybody knew it would hurt.
“You need a veneers guy?”
That one line set the tone for the rest of the night. Janela kept coming back, and LoPiccolo kept using his teeth as a punching bag. LoPiccolo then posted a photo of Joey giving a thumbs-up and compared Janela’s teeth to those of his young daughter. He also dragged me into the roast {🤣🤣🤣} and referenced Janela’s controversial match with a teenage wrestler.
“Imagine having fewer teeth than my 6-year-old daughter, getting cooked by Steve Carrier and Nick LoPiccolo, but at least you had that 4.5-star match with a 14-year-old.”
Next came Janela’s height. LoPiccolo posted a photo of Joey standing between Megan Bayne and questioned how Janela could talk so much while being shorter than him. “Imagine being shorter than me,” Nick wrote.
Nick then posted a photo of Janela making a ridiculous face and gave him a new name, dubbin him, “Temu Jack Perry.” That one was nasty because it required no explanation. LoPiccolo was calling Janela a cheap, off-brand version of the AEW star—and the photo did plenty of the work for him.
Janela tried changing the subject by going after LoPiccolo’s relationships with women. After LoPiccolo posted photos under the caption “The Rock vs. Stone Cold,” Janela accused him of paying women with cryptocurrency or drugs. Same crap he tried to pull on myself.
“You pay them in crypto or pink cocaine? Lol.”
LoPiccolo answered by posting a photo of the mother of his children and claimed Janela had never been with anyone on her level. He then went straight back to Janela’s career and appearance.
“I have two children with a woman who clears anyone you’ve ever been with in your life. Try getting a neck tattoo. Maybe then someone will hire you.”
Janela then made the dumb decision to bring LoPiccolo’s children and custody into the fight, writing, “And now you only get to see her when she drops the kids off for visitation.” That did not go well for him. LoPiccolo denied the claim, said he was never married and stated there was no court order involving his children. He also threatened to physically fold Janela and mocked how much anyone would pay to meet him.
“Dude, go pump gas. It’s 2026. I have a great relationship with my children. I was never married. There is no court order. I would snap you like a fing twig. I see my kids more than half the fing week, every week, and you’d be lucky if anyone paid you $30 for a photo.”
Janela still refused to take the loss. Instead, he accused LoPiccolo of tweeting too much to spend time with his children and went back to the same cocaine jokes he has been making for months.
“You tweet too much for someone who sees their kids like you’re saying. You put out a tweet every 40 seconds until you go into a cocaine comedown coma, lmfao.”
LoPiccolo told Janela that the attempts to shame him were not going to work.
“You don’t get to shame me. I’ll tweet you until the wheels fall off, and I don’t give a flying f** how you cope with it.”*
Janela turned the “wheels fall off” comment into another shot involving women and drugs.
“Or your d** falls off from the drug-infested Hollywood whores you’re paying.”*
LoPiccolo responded with one of the hardest insults of the entire exchange, hitting Janela’s teeth, height and lack of originality in one sentence.
“It means I do not give a flying f**, you toothless, unoriginal 5-foot-5 twink.”*
Janela tried to answer with another line about LoPiccolo allowing a woman to “take the wheel.” He then made a reference to Lindsay Lohan after LoPiccolo posted a collage that included photos of his family and Janela.
“Yeah, man, seems that way. You let her take the wheel.”
“What does being in a car with a drunk, rock-bottom Lindsay Lohan have to do with anything? Lmfao.”
LoPiccolo closed that round by reminding Janela that he has two children and once again went after the one subject Janela could not escape all night.
“I have two children, you dumb f**. You can’t afford teeth.”*
It didn’t stop there. Nick kept burying more dirt on him with additional tweets, which you can see below. Janela came into the conversation trying to laugh at LoPiccolo’s AEW threat. He left getting hammered over his teeth, height, career, dating life and ability to sell photographs.
The drug accusations were not new either. Janela went after LoPiccolo with similar claims in January, even after LoPiccolo privately tried to calm things down and told him the attacks had become personal because he has children. Janela mocked him for sharing the messages and kept the jokes going.
This time, Janela once again went looking for attention and got exactly what he asked for. He kept replying, LoPiccolo kept cooking him, and the missing-teeth jokes became the running gag that Janela had no answer for.
