Nick Khan dropped an interesting tease during a recent company town hall, hinting that WWE already has major plans locked in for the future — including a location announcement for WrestleMania in 2028.
While addressing WWE staff via POST Wrestling, Khan briefly shifted the conversation toward long-term planning and upcoming announcements. Without revealing any details about where the event will take place, he made it clear that the reveal itself is expected to make headlines.
“Wait until you hear the announcement on where we’re going to be for WrestleMania in 2028.”
Although Khan offered no hints about the destination, the comment immediately raised questions about where WWE might take its biggest annual show next. In recent years, WrestleMania has continued expanding into larger venues and international markets, making each location reveal a major moment for the company. Khan also acknowledged past scheduling decisions during the same discussion, referencing the challenge of running major stadium shows in the same location across consecutive years. He admitted that repeating locations back-to-back might not always be the best strategy, even if the events themselves perform well.
“That was ultimately my decision. Maybe we don’t do that one again in terms of back-to-back, but ultimately it ended up being a successful event.”
With WWE already planning future WrestleMania locations years in advance, Khan’s tease suggests that the company has something significant lined up — even if fans will have to wait to find out exactly where the show lands.
WrestleMania location announcements often spark speculation about international expansion, stadium partnerships, and destination-style events, making Khan’s short statement one that could fuel plenty of discussion in the months ahead.
