Nick Khan isn’t shutting the door on WrestleMania coming to Cleveland — in fact, he says the pressure to make it happen is only growing.

After years of talk about whether a cold-weather city like Cleveland could host WWE’s biggest event, the conversation picked up again during the Ali Act hearing on April 22, 2026, when Senator Bernie Moreno directly asked about bringing WrestleMania to Ohio.

Before giving a timeline, Senator Bernie Moreno laid out Cleveland’s pitch — pointing to plans for a new stadium near a major airport and even throwing out potential years for WWE to consider.

“What is it going to take to bring WrestleMania to Cleveland, Ohio? We’re building a brand-new stadium right next to the airport… So 2029 or 2030—which one’s better for you to bring WrestleMania? You had SummerSlam in Cleveland.”

Khan didn’t commit to a date — but he made it clear Cleveland is firmly on WWE’s radar, especially after the success of SummerSlam in the city: “It was quite a success for WWE and for our wrestlers.” He also acknowledged that the push to bring WrestleMania to Ohio isn’t coming from just one direction, referencing both internal and external pressure to make it happen.

“If it wasn’t enough that Logan Paul pressures me to bring WrestleMania to Ohio on a weekly basis, now we feel the pressure from you, Senator—in a positive way.”

When Moreno pressed him to pick between 2029 or 2030, Khan kept it brief — but didn’t shut anything down: “Thank you.” And this isn’t a brand-new idea either. The Miz has been pushing for WrestleMania in his home state for years, previously saying the key is building the right kind of stadium to make it happen.

“I would love it, especially if we get a dome. We get a dome, I guarantee we're going to have WrestleMania in Cleveland. You got to have a dome. You have to get a dome.”

Bottom line — Cleveland isn’t locked in yet, but between political backing, WWE acknowledging the pressure, and voices like The Miz continuing to push for it, the idea of WrestleMania in Ohio is picking up real momentum.

Do you think Cleveland should land WrestleMania in 2029 or 2030, or should WWE stick with its usual warm-weather cities? Let us know your thoughts.
