Nick Aldis looked like he had been through hell when he appeared during the SummerSlam Sunday Countdown show. The SmackDown General Manager spoke with Jackie Redmond while sporting a black eye and wearing a cast on his right hand after his brutal match with GUNTHER the night before.

The damage told the whole story. Aldis stepped back into the ring at SummerSlam and pushed GUNTHER hard, but he clearly did not walk away untouched. By the time he appeared on the countdown show, the shiner and hand cast made it obvious that the match came with a price.

Aldis had already put everything on the line just to make the match happen. He stepped down as SmackDown General Manager before facing GUNTHER, only for Triple H to tear up his resignation letter after the show and immediately put him back in charge.

The bigger question now is whether Aldis is done wrestling again. He is not making any promises, but he also is not shutting the door. Aldis has made it clear that another match could happen if the right situation comes along.

Do you think Nick Aldis should wrestle again after what happened at SummerSlam? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
