AEW Double or Nothing is already shaping up to be a packed event, and now Excalibur is trying to get New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani in the building.
Excalibur took to Bluesky and publicly invited Mamdani to attend Double or Nothing, which takes place at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York.

The Mayor of New York is certainly no stranger to professional wrestling, especially AEW, since he was seen attending AEW Grand Slam 2021, where Bryan Danielson took on Kenny Omega.
The invite comes as AEW prepares for one of its biggest shows of the year. Fightful Select noted that AEW talent and staff were told that complimentary tickets for Double or Nothing are extremely limited because the show is close to full capacity. That makes Excalibur’s public invite even more interesting, since extra tickets are apparently hard to come by heading into the May 24 pay-per-view.
Double or Nothing is set to take place at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, giving AEW a major New York setting for the event. With the show nearing capacity and Excalibur now trying to bring Mamdani into the mix, AEW’s New York weekend has another talking point before the pay-per-view even begins.
