Saturday Night’s Main Event invaded Madison Square Garden, and that included a lot of surprises. The New York Knicks’ home was also the perfect spot to pull off a massive moment for Danhausen.
Danhausen famously uncursed the New York Knicks before they went on to win the NBA Championship. Since the Knicks’ home played host to Saturday Night’s Main Event, the Knicks were represented.
During a no-DQ match, Danhausen and JD McDonagh threw down, but things were not evenly matched. Dominik Mysterio showed up to team up against Danhausen, but the Very Nice, Very Evil Superstar had a surprise up his sleeve.
After he pulled off a little magic, Danhausen made Karl-Anthony Towns appear out of his transformation machine. This marked the first appearance for Towns since the NBA Finals.
MSG blew up as Karl-Anthony Towns made his way to the ring. Then he destroyed the Judgment Day heels with a pair of chokeslams. After that, Danhausen was able to pick up the big win, because he is not cursed at all.
