They then talk about how important Madison Square Garden is for WWE.
Jackie Redmond then gives an update on CM Punk and Cody Rhodes about working together tonight. Cathy Kelley then talks about GUNTHER and Sami Zayn.

Laredo Kid then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the pre-show and Trick Williams follows.
Non-Title Match: WWE United States Champion Trick Williams vs. AAA’s Laredo Kid
The match starts off with Trick ripping at Laredo’s mask and he tosses a piece of it into the crowd. They then push each other. Both men then lock up and Trick hits a shoulder tackle. Laredo then hits several kicks to the leg and Trick pushes him down. Trick then misses a splash into the corner. Laredo then goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Laredo then hits a chop in the corner and he follows it up with shoulders. Laredo then wraps Trick’s leg in the ropes. Laredo then slaps Trick. Trick then hits a spinning back heel kick. Trick then sends Laredo into the corner and he punches Laredo. Trick then hits a hard Irish whip and Trick gets a near fall.
Trick then goes for a delayed vertical suplex, but Laredo tries for a counter with an inside cradle and Trick blocks it and hits a suplex. Trick then hits several punches in the corner. Laredo then hits a running forearm into the corner and he follows it up with a thrust kick. Laredo then hits a clothesline. Laredo then goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault and he gets a near fall. Laredo then slaps Trick and he sets up for a suplex. Oba then says he is in Brock’s head and he lives in his head. Oba then says Brock lost at WrestleMania, fake retired and ran away. Fatal Influence then make their way down to the ring for the first match of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and Paige and Brie Bella follow.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Scream Mode (Paige and WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella) (c) vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid)
The match starts off with Paige sending Reid to the floor and Fallon goes after Paige. Paige then hits a kick and Brie tags in. They then kick Reid and hit a double Code Breaker. Brie then hits a drop kick and she goes for a round kick, but Fallon blocks it and Fallon hits a forearm. Brie then sends Fallon into the corner and Paige hits a knee in the corner. Paige and Brie then hits a double bulldog for a near fall. Brie then tags in and drops Reid on the top rope. Brie then hits a suplex. Reid then hits several punches. Reid then hits an elbow and Fallon tags in and kicks Paige. Reid then tags in and she kicks Paige.
Reid then hits a snap mare and a boot to the head. Reid then cinches in a reverse chin lock. Paige then hits a jaw breaker and several forearms, but Reid keeps Paige from making the tag. Paige is then sent into the turnbuckles and Paige hits an elbow to Reid and a kick to Fallon. Brie then tags in and she hits a double clothesline and a clothesline to Fallon. We then see Cathy Kelley with Sami Zayn in the back. Sami says he is trying to choose his words and he does not want to call himself a victim, but look at everything that has happened. Sami then says all Punk and Cody needed to get a title match at SummerSlam is say when. Sami then says he had to bang himself against the glass ceiling. Sami then says he has to team with a man who says that Sami is not on his level. GUNTHER then tells Sami to stay out of his way and don’t ruin SummerSlam for him.
We then get a video package for the Danhausen/JD McDonagh Match.
We then see Jackie Redmond and she wants to talk to JD McDonagh before he goes to the ring. She asks if JD is prepared for whatever Danhausen has in store for him. JD then says Danhausen has no more games tonight and he is getting it.
JD McDonagh then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of Saturday Night’s Main Event with Dominik Mysterio and Danhausen follows.
No DQ Match: Danhausen vs. The Judgment Day’s “The Irish Ace” JD McDonagh
The match starts off with Danhausen winding up for a curse, but JD gets out of the way and he goes to the floor. Dominik then gets on the apron with Danhausen’s Knicks jersey. JD then attacks Danhausen from behind and he chops Danhausen. JD then chokes Danhausen. They then go to the floor. JD then Irish whips Danhausen into the ringside barrier. JD then does it again. JD then sends Danhausen into the commentary desk and he hits several forearms. Dominik then hits Danhausen and JD continues to send him into the commentary desk. They then return to the ring and JD hits a suplex. JD then goes to the turnbuckles and he hits a diving head butt for a near fall.
JD then hits a hard Irish whip while Dominik cleans his shoes with Danhausen’s jersey. JD then hits an elbow drop to the back. JD then hits a chop and a hard Irish whip. Danhausen then hits several punches and chops. Danhausen then punches JD from the turnbuckles. JD then drops Danhausen onto the turnbuckles and JD gets a near fall. Dominik then hands JD the jersey and JD wipes himself with it. JD then puts the jersey on top of Danhausen, but misses a moonsault. Danhausen then puts on the jersey and JD slaps Danhausen. JD then hits more slaps and Danhausen hits several punches. Danhausen then hits a reverse atomic drop and a clothesline. Danhausen then hits an exploder to Dominik.
Danhausen then goes for a reverse DDT, but JD drops down and gets a near fall with a victory roll. JD then goes for a suplex, but Danhausen hits a Stundog Millionaire for a near fall. Danhausen is then hit from behind by Dominik and Dominik kicks Danhausen. JD and Dominik then kick Danhausen. Dominik then holds Danhausen and JD hits a head butt. JD then hits a second head butt. Dominik and JD then rip the jersey and Dominik tells JD they should get a table. The table is not under the ring when they check. They then go to a second side and they pull out a table and there is a MiniHausen on the table. More then show up and one hits a cross body and the next one takes them down. They then punch Dominik and JD. Dominik then kicks one away. They then Irish whip the MiniHausens into the ringside barrier and ring steps.
Danhausen then puts a cat in the cloning machine while Dominik brings the table into the ring. They then set up the table with a MiniHausen. The machine is then running and out comes Karl Anthony Towns. Karl then goes to the ring with Danhausen. Danhausen then curses JD and Karl grabs JD and choke slams him. He then does the same thing to Dominik, but through the table. Danhausen then hits a reverse DDT for the win.

We then see Lyra Valkyria in the back and Cathy Kelley tries to talk to her to get her feelings and thoughts about Bayley. Lyra says the last time they were in the building, they wrestled for the tag title. Lyra then says she wanted to make it to the top, but here we are. Cathy then asks if she will be done with Bayley after tonight. Lyra says think of who she would have been if Bayley had been who she needed. Lyra then says Bayley will be out of her head forever after tonight.
We then take a look at Fanatics Fest.
We then see Jackie Redmond stop Bayley in the back to talk to her about the match as she was on her way to the ring. Bayley says she thought Lyra was different, but she is the one who is different. Bayley then says she will stop Lyra tonight.

Singles Match: Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria
The match starts off with both women locking up and Bayley backs Lyra into the corner. Bayley then slaps Lyra. Bayley then cinches in a front face lock and she hits several punches. Lyra then sends Bayley to the mat. Bayley then hits a double leg take down. Lyra then gets to the ropes and she goes to the apron. Bayley then hits a forearm after she goes to the floor. Bayley then hits a forearm to Lyra and she sends Lyra to the apron. Bayley then suplexes Lyra to the floor. The referee then pulls Bayley away from Lyra after Lyra starts to bleed. The referee then checks on Lyra and Bayley hits a take down and several punches on the floor. Lyra then hits several forearms against the apron and Bayley hits a forearm. Lyra is then sent into the apron and they return to the ring.
Bayley then sends Lyra to the apron and Bayley sets up for a cutter in the ropes, but Lyra pushes her away. Lyra then pulls Bayley into the top rope. Lyra then yells at Bayley for what she did to her nose. Lyra then slams Bayley’s head into the mat. The referee then checks on Lyra’s nose and she hits shoulders in the corner. Bayley then hits an Irish whip that sends Lyra over the top rope and to the floor. Bayley is then stopped by the referee. Bayley then hits a cross body to Lyra. They then return to the ring and Bayley gets a near fall. Lyra then hits a hip toss and a snap mare. Lyra then hits a knee drop to the head. Bayley then hits an Irish whip, but she runs into a boot. Lyra then stands on Bayley’s head.
Bayley then hits several forearms and a back body drop. Lyra then hits an Irish whip and Bayley floats over and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Bayley then cinches in a Boston Crab and Lyra rolls through and kicks Bayley away. Bayley then hits a cutter in the ropes. Bayley then goes up top and she sets up for an elbow drop, but Lyra recovers and stops Bayley with a forearm. Lyra then hits a neck breaker on the top turnbuckle. Lyra then hits a kick to Bayley in the ropes and Lyra goes to the turnbuckles for a leg drop to the back of the head. Lyra then gets a near fall.
Bayley and Lyra then exchange punches. Lyra then hits several kicks and Bayley hits a T-bone suplex. Bayley then hits a sunset flip power bomb into the turnbuckles. Lyra then escapes a Rose Plant. Bayley then hits a Northern Lariat and she cinches in a cross face. Bayley then keeps Lyra from getting to the ropes and she rolls into the center of the ring. Lyra then goes for Night Wing, but Bayley escapes. Lyra then sends Bayley into the top rope to escape an O’Connor Roll. Lyra then grabs Bayley and Bayley goes for a belly-to-belly suplex, but Lyra escapes and she applies a rear naked choke. Bayley then passes out and the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, Lyra kicks Bayley to the floor. Lyra then starts to head to the back, but she stops and turns around to pick up Bayley and send her into the ring post. Lyra then returns to the Bulldog choke. The referee then pushes Lyra off Bayley. Lyra then moves the ring steps and she picks up Bayley and Lyra hits a Night Wing on the ring steps.
We then see Cathy Kelley with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. She asks them about their motivation for tonight. Cody asks why Cathy didn’t ask if they can co-exist. Cody then says he wants no excuses from Punk when he beats him. Punk then says Cody is his friend and his partner tonight, but at SummerSlam, Cody is his opponent. Punk then says they need to make sure they have a one-on-one match at SummerSlam. Punk then asks Cody who goes out first.
Cody Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of Saturday Night’s Main Event and CM Punk follows. GUNTHER then makes his way down to the ring next and Sami Zayn follows.

The match starts off with Punk punching Zayn when he is about to enter the ring. Punk then cinches in an arm bar and Rhodes tags in and hits a double sledge to the arm. Punk then hits a kick and Rhodes hits a punch. Rhodes then cinches in a wrist lock and an arm wringer. Punk then tags in and he hits a double sledge. GUNTHER then punches Punk and tags in. GUNTHER then hits several chops to Punk. Punk then goes to the floor and Zayn tags in, but GUNTHER chops Punk while Zayn forces Rhodes into the ring to distract the referee. GUNTHER then drops Punk on the ringside barrier. Rhodes then goes to check on Punk while the referee makes his count. Rhodes then sends Punk into the ring and Zayn hits several punches. Zayn then hits several head butts. Zayn then punches Punk and puts him on the turnbuckles.
Punk then pushes Zayn away and he hits a clothesline on Zayn and both men are down. Rhodes and GUNTHER then tag in and they exchange punches. Rhodes then floats over and he hits a power slam. Rhodes then hits a Disaster Kick. Zayn then tags in and Rhodes hits several jabs and an iconic Elbow. GUNTHER then goes for a belly-to-back suplex and Rhodes lands on his feet. Rhodes then hits a Cody Cutter to GUNTHER. Rhodes then hits a suicide dive to Zayn. Rhodes then punches GUNTHER and comes off the turnbuckles. GUNTHER then misses a clothesline and Rhodes hits a double jump Cody Cutter for a near fall. GUNTHER then hits a snap mare to escape a Cross Rhodes and Zayn tags in. Rhodes then escapes a Blue Thunder Bomb.
Rhodes then goes for a Cross Rhodes and Zayn counters with a Victory Roll and he gets a near fall. Zayn then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Zayn then sets up for a Helluva Kick, but Rhodes moves out of the way and tags out to Punk. Punk then climbs to the top rope and cinches in the Anaconda Vice on Zayn as Rhodes locks in the Figure Four Leg Lock on GUNTHER. GUNTHER then rakes Punk’s eye to break the Anaconda Vice that Punk has locked in on Zayn and Zayn helps GUNTHER escape the Figure Four Leg Lock. He then hits Punk with a Helluva Kick in the corner, but Rhodes hits a Cross Rhodes to Zayn. GUNTHER then hits Rhodes with a lariat, but Punk hits a GTS to GUNTHER and looks to tag out to Rhodes only to find Rhodes is down on the floor.
GUNTHER then looks to cinch in a sleeper on Punk, but Punk puts GUNTHER in a sleeper of his own. Punk then accidentally sends Rhodes crashing off the ring apron and GUNTHER puts him in a sleeper, but Rhodes tags in and hits a Cross Rhodes to GUNTHER. He then goes for a pin, but Zayn sends himself and GUNTHER crashing into Punk and Rhodes to break the fall. Zayn then delivers several right hands on Rhodes and Punk, but Punk hits a GTS to send Zayn crashing out of the ring. Punk and Rhodes then deliver several right hands on GUNTHER and Punk holds GUNTHER in place for Rhodes to hit a Cody Cutter on him. GUNTHER then moves out of the way and Rhodes hits a Cody Cutter to Punk.
GUNTHER then grabs the Undisputed WWE Championship belt and hits Rhodes with it while the referee is down, then hits a powerbomb to Rhodes and goes for a pin. Rhodes then kicks out after Nick Aldis pulls the referee out of the ring. Aldis then hits GUNTHER with the Undisputed WWE Championship belt, allowing Punk to hits a GTS to GUNTHER and place Rhodes on top of him to pin him for the win.

After the match, Rhodes gives Punk the title belt and they shake hands and hug. Rhodes then raises Punk’s hand and Punk accidentally hits Rhodes with the title belt when he puts it over his shoulder.
Stephanie McMahon and Joe Tessitore then talk about what just happened.
Jalen Brunson then makes his way down to the ring with WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The OTC” Roman Reigns. Reigns then grabs a mic and starts off by saying this is something you don’t see every day. Reigns then says some of you are asking what are they doing out here. Reigns then says this is rare air. Reigns then says this is where greatness acknowledges greatness. Reigns then says it is no secret that this city is the home of WWE. Reigns then says he is not gonna lie, you make him feel like he is home too. Reigns then says 53 years was way too long. Reigns then says Jalen will tell you this is a team sport and it took everybody on the roster. Reigns then says there is only one tribal chief and there is only one captain. Reigns then says in the WWE every champion needs a title. Reigns then says he made some moves and he gives Jalen his own title belt. Reigns then says Jalen earned it. Reigns then says now it is complete and it is time to acknowledge them.
Seth Rollins’ music then interrupts and Tyrese Halliburton comes out with a chair. Seth then comes from the crowd and attacks Roman from behind with a forearm and he kicks Roman. Tyrese then gives Seth the chair and he hits a thrust kick. Seth then sets up for a Stomp on the chair, but Jalen stands in the way. Seth then takes off his jacket and he has some words for Jalen. Jalen then tells Seth this is his house mother f***er. Roman then hits a Superman punch and a spear. Roman and Brunson then celebrate and Seth and Tyrese retreat. Reigns and Brunson then stand tall in the ring staring down Rollins and Haliburton, with Reigns holding up the NBA Finals trophy and Brunson holding up Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship belt as Saturday Night’s Main Event comes to a close.
