Natalya has trained everyone from unknown prospects to established WWE stars inside the Dungeon, but she says not one of them has ever received a bill. The longtime WWE veteran revealed that she has never charged a single person to step inside her ring and learn from her and TJ Wilson.
While speaking on Busted Open After Dark, Natalya explained that teaching is about keeping the Hart family’s wrestling knowledge alive. Her family didn’t just participate in the business—professional wrestling consumed their lives.
“My thing is being a great teacher, being a great leader and being someone who was born and raised in this business. I wasn’t just born and raised in it. My family has lived and died for this.”
That history is why Natalya refuses to turn her training sessions into a business transaction. She wants the wrestlers who enter the Dungeon to bring effort, heart and a genuine desire to improve.
“When I’m working with people at the Dungeon, I have never ever—and I’m very proud of this—I’ve never taken a dollar from a soul. I’ve never taken a dollar from anyone because all I want to do is pass on everything that my family loves.”
Natalya named Liv Morgan and Jacob Fatu as examples of wrestlers she wants to help. Whether someone is already a WWE star or is still fighting for a break, her expectation remains the same.
“I want Liv to come and work with us and be her best self. I want Jacob Fatu to come work with us and be his best self. I want everyone who steps through the doors of the Dungeon to be their very best.”
“I don’t want their money. I want their passion.”
Free training doesn’t mean Natalya takes it easy on anyone. Later in the conversation, she revealed that she recently confronted one of her students after feeling the wrestler wasn’t doing everything within his control to succeed.
Natalya kept the student’s identity private because he isn’t signed by WWE and isn’t someone fans would recognize yet. However, she shared exactly what she told him.
“I had a conversation with one of my students last week, and I was like, ‘Do you really want this? Do you really want this? Because you’re coming to my ring, you’re training with me for free, and you’re getting this incredible information from me and TJ.’”
Natalya said she was spending hours inside a building without air conditioning to help the student, and she needed to know that the same level of effort was coming back.
“I’m in here for four hours in a warehouse with no air conditioning, sweating my ass off, and I’m giving you my heart and my soul. Do you want this? Because the things that you can control, you’re not doing your best at.”
That conversation wasn’t designed to chase the student away. Natalya wanted him to understand that wrestling careers don’t last forever and opportunities can disappear before someone realizes how much time they wasted.
“I don’t want you to leave this business without knowing that you did everything in your power to make it. I want you to leave no stone unturned so that, if it doesn’t work out, you never have to look at yourself in the mirror and go, ‘I wish I would’ve, could’ve, should’ve.’”
Natalya may not charge admission at the Dungeon, but the training still comes with a price: show up, listen and give everything you have. Anyone expecting a casual workout is walking into the wrong warehouse.
