Multiple Matches and Segments Confirmed for April 17 WWE SmackDown

WWE is loading up the final SmackDown before WrestleMania 42, and a title match just made the lineup even bigger.

Giulia is now set to defend the WWE Women’s United States Championship against Tiffany Stratton on the April 17 episode of SmackDown. The match adds major stakes to the WrestleMania go-home show, with Stratton getting a prime chance to score a huge win heading into the biggest weekend of the year.

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is also scheduled to speak during the broadcast. Rhodes is expected to address Pat McAfee and Randy Orton as tensions continue building ahead of WrestleMania 42.

Jacob Fatu will also take the mic to respond to Drew McIntyre following their recent issues. With both men known for explosive confrontations, that segment could easily turn physical depending on how things unfold.
