The list of WWE departures just picked up two major tag team names.

Ringside News has learned that Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, known together as Motor City Machine Guns, are now gone from WWE.

Shelley and Sabin built a strong reputation as one of the most respected tag teams in modern wrestling long before arriving in WWE. Their chemistry and experience made them a recognizable duo wherever they competed, and their exit now removes another established team from the company’s tag division.

The Motor City Machine Guns had been known for their fast-paced style and long history together, with success across multiple promotions before their WWE run. Their departure now adds veteran star power to an already growing list of names leaving the company during this latest wave of roster moves.

With both Shelley and Sabin gone, WWE’s tag team division loses a proven tandem that many fans viewed as one of the most polished teams on the roster.

Do you think WWE made the wrong call letting the Motor City Machine Guns go, or could this open the door for them to return to the tag team scene elsewhere? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
