Tessa Blanchard’s move to MLW may be closer than anyone thought. During the August 29 episode of MLW Fusion, the company aired a mysterious “Coming Soon” teaser that appeared to point directly at the former TNA World Champion.
The video featured a diamond before displaying a message about how pressure breaks most people while others are made for it. MLW never showed Blanchard’s face or mentioned her by name, but the diamond imagery made the possible connection difficult to ignore.
The teaser came shortly after MLW founder Court Bauer confirmed that the company had entered talks with Blanchard following her TNA exit. Bauer said Blanchard had been in the mix since becoming a free agent and described her as an incredibly talented performer.
This is a major change from where things stood in June. After Blanchard left TNA, It was reportedthat MLW had not contacted her in years despite speculation about the promotion becoming her next destination.
Blanchard became a free agent after TNA released her roughly halfway through a three-year contract. Her situation became complicated by her work with CMLL, where she received more dates, better money and creative opportunities she preferred.
She has remained active since leaving TNA. New Wrestling Evolution has already announced Blanchard for its NWE Legends Tour 2026 across Spain and Italy in November.
MLW has not confirmed that Blanchard signed a contract, but the company has now gone from having no recent contact with her to holding direct talks and airing a teaser loaded with diamond imagery. All signs are pointing in the same direction.
