MJF is the Salt of the Earth in AEW and many couldn’t imagine the company without his heel antics. They might be forced to do just that if MJF takes a deal elsewhere.

AEW signed MJF to a five-year contract. He’s not going anywhere any time soon. That doesn’t mean he’s not willing to hear what offers are out there for him. He is a businessman at the end of the day and the pro wrestling business is still a business.

While speaking to Steel Chair Magazine, MJF hinted that when his AEW contract expires in 2024 then he will listen to other offers. “AEW runs deep” in him, but that won’t keep him from hearing other companies out.

“Don’t get me wrong, AEW runs deep in me, I don’t want to leave, but I am a businessman at the end of the day, and I can’t help myself if somebody’s got an offer for me, I’m going to listen to it.”

We’ll have to see what happens as MJF continues. Right now he has Blood & Guts to worry about tonight, a very special episode of Dynamite where he will be featured in AEW’s new version of WarGames.
