MJF has responded to some major praise from Mick Foley, and he did it in the most MJF way possible.

During his June 2 appearance on Ariel Helwani’s show, Foley had nothing but glowing things to say about the AEW World Champion. The WWE Hall of Famer praised MJF’s stance on not leaving a company simply to chase a WrestleMania moment and went even further when discussing his skills on the microphone.

While explaining why he agrees with MJF’s outlook, Foley made it clear that he believes wrestlers can create their own defining moments without needing WrestleMania.

“I really respect what he says about not needing a WrestleMania moment because in life, and in wrestling, we get to select our own WrestleMania moments. I’m right on board with Max saying don’t leave a company you love to chase this illusive WrestleMania moment that you can actually create for yourself.”

Foley then delivered perhaps the biggest compliment of all when talking about MJF’s promo ability.

“This guy, I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say he’s the best in the business on the microphone right now. Man, he’s good. I mean not good, he’s great.”

It didn’t take long for MJF to notice the comments. Instead of posting a lengthy response, MJF took to social media and shared a classic Shawn Michaels GIF featuring the WWE Hall of Famer making an d*ck s*cking gesture toward the camera.

What do you think about Mick Foley’s comments? Is MJF the best promo in professional wrestling today, or would you give that title to someone else? Let us know in the comments and share your thoughts.
