MJF unloaded on Mick Foley during a new interview with Jon Alba, taking direct shots at the WWE Hall of Famer while discussing the possibility of Foley showing up in AEW.

The comments come shortly after talk surfaced that AEW has interest in bringing Foley into the company. Earlier this month, it was revealed that AEW had discussed working with Foley, although it was unclear whether the idea involved a one-off appearance or something bigger. When Foley’s name came up during the interview, MJF didn’t hesitate before burying the hardcore wrestling icon and comparing him to Darby Allin.

“I think Mick Foley is fat and he’s ugly, and I think he was the blueprint of what Darby Allin is now, which makes me hate him even more. That’s what I think of Mick Foley.”

MJF has taken shots at wrestling legends before, but this one stood out considering he and Foley previously talked publicly about doing a storyline together in AEW. Foley had even floated the idea of wrestling one final match against MJF before retiring for good, though nothing ever came from it.

Foley has also been in the headlines recently after announcing he no longer wants to appear on WWE television because of the company’s ties to Donald Trump’s administration.

At this point, it’s still unknown whether Foley will actually appear in AEW, but MJF made one thing crystal clear — he has absolutely no love for the WWE legend.

Do you want to see Mick Foley show up in AEW, or should the company move on from bringing in older legends? Let us know your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
