Michelle McCool has had enough of the ugly side of social media, and now she’s dealing with something even more personal.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to her Instagram Story and exposed a fake account pretending to be her daughter, Kaia. The account was named KaiaFaithCalaway, and McCool made it very clear that it does not belong to her child.
“FYI…this is NOT my child and i have tried ot nicely ask it to be removed. Since they haven’t, will obviousl have to get others involved. In the meante, if you’d like to report it, I’d love you for it!”
That is a pretty scary situation for any parent, especially when the account is using her daughter’s name. McCool said she already tried to handle things nicely, but since the account was still up, she warned that she may have to get others involved.
This comes after McCool previously opened up about why she doesn’t want her daughter on social media. She shared some of the nasty messages she receives online and said she was using them as an example for her daughter.
“Real talk: Who else would volunteer as tribute to show my daughter why she doesn’t have social media. Snake. Sick of her holier than thou Christian attitude.”
She’s trash. If she actually had talent, she would have been pushed. She was trash. She won’t be remembered.”
Now, McCool’s concerns about social media look even more understandable. It is one thing for trolls to go after her, but pretending to be her child crosses a much bigger line. Bottom line, Michelle McCool is not just calling out random hate anymore. She is protecting her daughter and making it clear that fake accounts using her child’s identity will not be ignored.
