Mercedes Moné left AEW All In 2026 with the Women’s World Championship—and a broken nose. The injury happened at the very beginning of her brutal fight with Willow Nightingale, but Moné refused to let it stop her.
Speaking during the All In post-show press conference, Mercedes revealed that she went straight to the doctor for stitches after choking Willow unconscious with the Statement Maker. When asked when the injury happened, Mercedes didn’t hesitate.
“I haven’t even had time to process winning this. I was so focused on taking Willow’s smile and ending her career. I finally get to look at the title because straight after the match, I had to go to the doctor to get stitches for my nose that she broke.”
“Right at the f*cking beginning.”
Moné wrestled nearly the entire match with the injury as Willow repeatedly threw her around the ring. Nightingale sent Mercedes head-first into the steel steps, smashed her across the back with the championship and nearly finished her with a gutwrench powerbomb. Mercedes admitted that Willow gave her a beating, but she insisted the new champion hit back even harder.
“Me and Willow have had it out for each other since the day that we met. Today, all of our emotions, frustrations and history were right there in the ring. We gave it our all. She legit beat my ass all over the ring, but I beat her harder.”
Willow never tapped out in the closing moments. Mercedes locked in the Statement Maker and kept applying pressure until Nightingale lost consciousness, ending her championship reign at Wembley Stadium.
Moné now leaves All In with another title added to her collection, stitches in her nose and proof that even a broken bone wasn’t enough to keep her from taking Willow’s championship.
