Austin Theory and Maxxine Dupri’s WWE romance storyline has officially spilled into Kam Hendrix’s mentions — and Maxxine’s real-life husband is making it clear he’s not sweating any of it. After fans spent hours tagging Hendrix and asking what he planned to do about another very cozy Theory-Dupri video, he finally grabbed a camera and answered them himself.
The latest clip shows Theory carrying Dupri on his shoulders with her legs wrapped around his neck while the two lip-sync together in matching outfits. It was enough to send wrestling social media into meltdown mode, especially after months of WWE pushing Theory and Dupri as an on-screen couple. One fan immediately asked:
“Why he got Maxxine spread open like that?!?! 😭🤣 #WWERAW”
Another fan said, “opened up my IG and gasped….” The attention quickly shifted away from Theory and Dupri and directly toward Hendrix, with fans wondering how Maxxine’s husband felt watching the storyline get increasingly physical. One fan put Hendrix on the spot:
“we gotta see if kam hendrix is a man or a mouse. AUSTIN THEORY AND MAXXINE DUPRI ARE WILDING RIGHT NOW 💀”
Another went much further, writing, “Over/under 6 months it comes out they fking wit each other lmfao.” There is nothing suggesting Theory and Dupri are anything more than co-workers playing out a WWE storyline, but that clearly hasn’t stopped fans from turning Hendrix into part of the conversation.
Hendrix finally responded with a video of his own, opening by mocking all the people repeatedly asking what he was going to do about the situation.
“Cam, what are you gonna do about it, Cam? Are you gonna do anything about it? Are you gonna just sit there and watch? You’re not gonna do anything about a camera? You’re just gonna sit there and take it? You’re just gonna take it Camp. Don’t worry about me. Worry about you. I’m fine. I’m living my best life. Life is great.”
Translation: Hendrix does not appear to be sitting at home punching holes in walls over Austin Theory. In fact, he sounded about as relaxed as possible while explaining that he was outside enjoying his vacation and watching alligators.
“I’m outside. It is sprinkling outside. I’m on the back patio chilling, baby. I’m looking at the gators. They crawling, they creeping. I’m chilling. Life’s good. Don’t worry about me.”
Hendrix then completely flipped the conversation from his wife’s WWE storyline to his own wrestling career. Instead of threatening Theory or feeding into the relationship speculation, he warned the rest of the wrestling world that he plans to start cooking people once he gets back.
“Because when Cam Hendricks is back, I’m about to go stupid on ass. Everybody. Everybody’s getting cooked because everybody’s mid. Everybody’s trash, bro. I’m sitting here watching your favorite superstars, and I’m like, this is your favorite superstar, bruh. He’s ass, he’s trash, cuz. This really easy for me, bro.”
He wasn’t finished either. Hendrix said sitting on vacation has apparently given him plenty of time to watch other wrestlers and become even more convinced that his eventual return is going to be easy work.
“And while I’m sitting here chilling, because I’m on vacation, you feel me? I’m just thinking, damn, when I get back, this going to be so easy. And everyone’s going to have to feel it when it’s lights, Cam, action. I’ll see you all day.”
Theory and Dupri have been giving fans plenty to talk about lately. Last month, another celebration went viral when viewers started obsessing over Theory’s hand placement, and the latest video only poured more gasoline on the conversation.
As for Hendrix, he doesn’t seem interested in playing the jealous husband for social media. While fans are analyzing where Austin Theory’s hands are and how close he’s getting to Maxxine Dupri, Hendrix is apparently sitting by the pool watching gators and planning who he wants to embarrass when he gets back in the ring.
