Matt Riddle is not done talking about a possible fight comeback, and Jake Paul’s MMA world could be right in his lane if the money is there.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Riddle was asked about possibly returning to MMA and whether Jake Paul’s MVP MMA promotion could be a good fit for him. Riddle didn’t shoot it down at all. In fact, he said he thinks he would fit there, while also bringing up Misfits and Dillon Danis.

Riddle made it clear that he still sees himself as a problem for anyone in combat sports.

“I think I would be a great fit. I think I’d be a great fit for Misfit. Dillon Danis is their welterweight champion. I used to teach that kid how to wrestle. No disrespect. His jinx is sick. But I’m me. I’d beat up everybody and I think he’s a cool dude. I think he’d be a good fight. But also MVP, wealth of talent, you know, and I could fight there. UFC. I was ranked top 10 when I got fired at 27. I’m 40 now, but I’ve only gotten better. I’m like a fine wine. I get better with time. You know what I’m saying? So, yeah, dude. My door is always open. I don’t hold beefs or anything, but at the end of the day, the numbers have to make sense.”

That has been Riddle’s position when it comes to fighting again. He said earlier in the interview that he makes good money in pro wrestling and stays busy almost every weekend, so any fight would need to be worth the training camp and physical risk.

Riddle also made it clear that he still has confidence in his fighting ability. He pointed out that he was ranked in the UFC when he left, and even though he is 40 now, he believes he has only gotten better.

A fight with Dillon Danis, a spot in Jake Paul’s MVP MMA setup, or another combat sports payday could all be on the table for Riddle. The only real question is whether someone puts enough money in front of him to make it happen.
