Matt Cardona was known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE as he worked hard to establish himself in the company. While he find moderate success in WWE, Cardona was never seen as a top star. It seems he reflected on his success as well.
Broski was largely underutilized by the company until his release as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts back in 2020. Cardona made it a mission to reinvent himself following his release and Cardona did just that.
Cardona won the GCW World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Nick Gage and engaged in numerous feuds there as well. He also had a good run in Impact Wrestling last year. His most recent accomplishment saw him defeating Trevor Murdoch for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

2022 is already shaping up to be a tremendous year for Matt Cardona from the looks of it. We will have to wait and see whether Cardona will continue to see more success or not.
