WWE and Disney are looking to bring their worlds together in 2027. TKO President and COO Mark Shapiro revealed that the two entertainment giants are already working on special events designed to tap into something they both know very well—families.

Shapiro dropped the news during the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference while discussing WWE’s advertising business and the company’s family-first approach. He explained that WWE reaches a much different audience than UFC, something advertisers are beginning to recognize.

“Remember, WWE is a different audience than the UFC, and when it comes to going after families, that’s our audience, and I think advertisers are starting to see that.”

That’s when Shapiro revealed WWE and The Walt Disney Company are already working together on something for next year.

“Frankly, I’m excited for 2027 because we’re working with The Walt Disney Company on some special events around Disney and WWE and bringing those two audiences together since, of course, what do they have in common? Family.”

Shapiro didn’t reveal exactly what those “special events” will be, so there’s no confirmation yet that WWE is heading into Disney theme parks or what kind of crossover the two companies have in mind.

The relationship between WWE and Disney has already grown considerably through ESPN. WWE’s premium live events began streaming through Disney-owned ESPN in 2025, giving the two companies a major business connection before these new events were even discussed.

WWE has also shown that it is willing to take its characters outside the wrestling arena and into major theme-park attractions. In 2025, WWE teamed with Universal Studios for “The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks” at Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood. That collaboration was separate from Disney, but it showed how WWE characters can be turned into full-blown attractions outside the squared circle.

Now Disney could be next in line for some type of WWE crossover. Shapiro isn’t giving away the details yet, but with both companies chasing the family audience, WWE and Disney appear ready to do a lot more together in 2027.
