Lola Vice isn’t waiting around hoping for a WWE main roster call-up anymore. As far as she’s concerned, she’s already done everything she needed to do.
While appearing on Busted Open Radio on August 1, Vice was asked about finally making the jump to RAW or SmackDown. Rather than dodging the question, the former AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion made it crystal clear that she believes she’s ready right now. In fact, she already has dream opponents lined up.
“Lola Vice vs. Tiffany Stratton, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair. To be honest, I believe I’m ready.”
The only thing standing between her and the main roster, according to Vice, is WWE’s timing. Vice made it clear she isn’t worried about whether she’ll get the opportunity. She’s only wondering when.
“It’s a matter of their timing and waiting and being patient for the perfect moment because I believe this career is about longevity and being patient. Every match in NXT and Triple A, the day they call me up, I’m gonna take it by storm, and Lola Vice is going to bring something different to the main roster.”
She continued by explaining that she’s done everything WWE could have asked of her, from establishing herself in NXT to spending the past year representing the company in AAA.
“The day that comes is when they feel it’s the right time. I think I’m ready to do it. I did everything I could in NXT, did Triple A for a year, flew to another country, proved myself, and have been undeniable in the ring. So it’s a matter of when it happens, not if.”
Her comments come at an interesting time. It was reported that WWE is believed to have called Lola Vice up, with SmackDown expected to be her destination. While nothing is guaranteed yet, Vice certainly doesn’t sound like someone expecting to stay in NXT much longer.
If the call comes, she’s already promised exactly what’s going to happen next. The former NXT Women’s Champion plans on taking the main roster by storm.
